“ We came from Victoria we wanted to give it a shot because their Instagram looks phenomenal so we made sure it was a place to stop at. We got to the door. It was insanely busy. We had no reservation but the young blonde who we later learned was Ty?was phenomenal very sweet, very accommodating and made sure that we had a table and then checked back twice to make sure that we were taken care of and felt comfortable, even though there was a lineup down the lane. Food was outstanding!! ”

“ Dinner last night at Banter Room in Yaletown – our first time there, after dropping off the girls for their concert. It was a super quiet Monday, plenty of space on the covered patio. We took advantage of the Monday lager special and ordered Wagyu beef deep sliders and the Banter burger. The Banter burger was, without a doubt, the best burger I've ever had – even better than Gordon Ramsay's. The flavor of the meat was incredible and stayed with me. While the Wagyu sliders were good, the burger completely overshadowed them. I'm curious if the quiet evening allowed the chef extra time, so I'll definitely return to see if that amazing flavor is standard. Service was good, though a bit rushed during ordering and when we paid, which was surprising given how few tables were occupied. Normally, I'd give 4 stars for that, but the burger alone pushes this to a 5-star review. Can't wait to try other menu items! ”

“ Had an amazing night at The Banter Room! Even on a packed evening, Tyler made us feel like we were the only ones there. She managed the front door and floor like a pro—welcoming, calm, and totally in control. The drinks were creative and absolutely delicious, and the service was quick and seamless. Tyler truly elevated the whole experience. We’ll definitely be back! ”

“ My husband and I had a fantastic lunch here last week! He got the turkey sandwich and a beer, I got the shrimp tacos and a cocktail (the one with passion fruit in it, I forget the name). Everything was phenomenal, I could eat those tacos three meals a day. Our waiter was fantastic as well, answered all our questions, even asked the kitchen a couple things. She even brought me a spoon so I could eat the passion fruit out of my drink! I can’t remember her name for the life of me, but it was midday on the 26th, we had our dog and sat on the patio — if anyone there knows who she was, please pass on our appreciation! The atmosphere was fantastic, SUPER cute vibe and comfy seating and everything. My only gripe was that the patio is closed in and it was a bit of a greenhouse in there in the middle of a sunny day, quite warm. We probably should have asked to crack a window, but honestly we were too busy gushing over the hot sauce to think of it. And we were delighted to be able to bring the dog in! Thanks again, we’re looking forward to coming back. ”
